Alex Fuller MA VetMB MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon - Owner
Since graduating from Cambridge in 2006, Alex has focused solely on equine veterinary medicine. He was raised on a stud farm in Lancashire, so it's in his blood. As a first-opinion vet, he enjoys dealing with various cases and has a particular interest in orthopaedics, poor performance issues, and challenging dental cases. Alex is a member of The International Society of Equine Loco-motor Pathology (ISELP) and is currently studying with them to further understand and manage lameness conditions in equine athletes. In his free time, he likes to socialise with friends and family, cook, and play the occasional game of poker with friends.

Veterinary Surgeon
After completing a BSc in Animal Science at Writtle College in 2006, Kirsty went on to study veterinary medicine and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2010. Kirsty began life as a vet in a mixed practice in the Scottish Borders; following this, she completed a rotating equine internship at the Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital in 2012-2013 and then stayed on in the Leahurst Equine Practice (attached to the hospital) for just over a year. From 2014 until 2017, Kirsty worked in a variety of practices in Scotland, New Zealand, Wales and England, carrying out mainly equine ambulatory service for on-site assessments and some small animal work before joining Fuller Equine Ltd in 2017. Kirsty obtained her advanced veterinary practitioner certificate in Equine Practice in 2018.
Kirsty loves being a vet and enjoys the variety of challenges that the job offers. Her main interests are orthopaedics, anaesthesia, and carrying out pre-purchase examinations; however, she enjoys all aspects of equine practice. Kirsty is also a coach for other veterinary surgeons and has a passion for promoting and improving the mental health and well-being of veterinary surgeons and the whole practice team. Interests outside of work include travelling, skiing, mountain biking, reading, cooking and socialising with friends.
